Here you'll
find all the information on the monuments of the city, including
the churches. Some of them are very ancient as the Monastery
which is one of the oldest temples in Brazil, since Itanhaém is
the second oldest Brazilian town.
Some other
churches are newer as The Church of Our Lady of Sion, built in
roman style and located in Suarão. It's definitely worth
visiting these places and learning a bit of the local history.
All temples are currently open. Please note that it is not
allowed visiting the churches and the monastery wearing bathing
suits.
