Indian's  or Anchieta's Well (Poço dos Índios ou do Anchieta)

According to the legend, the rocky crown that forms the Well, Indians' Well or Anchieta's Well, were intentionally put there by the Indians following the Jesuits' directions for catching the fish that could ve trapped during the web. Truth or myth, in fact some fish has been trapped there and the so called "well" seem to be human made and not of a natural formation. During the web many small marine animals and plants can be seen such as red and blue anemones, algae shellfish and various kinds of crabs.

The place has an unique beauty compounding an unforgettable scenery with the rocks of the Cibratel Beach. During the flow, when the sea is calm and the waters are clear, the place used to be a nice spot to learn how to dive (experienced divers trying to dive there must know what they are doing and must ask locals on how and when to try it).

The rocky coast show many bromelia plants (a kind of pineapple plant which pines are in fact reddish and pink flowers). A long time ago, there must have been a marsh behind the set of the Hills of Paranambuco, behind the beach; some remnants are still there such as the typical marsh bushes with yellow flowers on the left side of the beach.
